Handouts
Any student who was absent for Day 1 will use this music organization to complete the Day 1 homework sheet: Orpheus Chamber Orchestra
On the final day of the term, each group will share what it’s been working on, and your ideas will be discussed by the entire class. Your presentation should include all of the following:
- What organization did you choose?
- What does your chosen organization say their mission is?
- What do they do to meet that goal?
- Based on your experience and your knowledge of other New York City music organizations, what could they do differently or better, and how would that help them to better fulfill their mission?
Take the time to refresh yourself on other things you’ve learned in this class, discussed in person and online, your own musical experience this semester as you prepare for this final assignment, and the techniques you’ve learned for effective group work.
